7-string, 38" scale, fretted subcontra bass tuned E"A'D'G'CFa, lowest note at 20.5 hz. Special strings by Kallium Strings.
Ebony fingerboard and a seven-piece neck with sapele, ipe, cocobola, and pau ferro (rosewood). Body core kaya (commonly called African mahogany) with padouk stripe. Ebony and hand-dyed flame maple top. Back details in bocote and hand-dyed flame maple.
Featuring Hipshot tuners and bridge, with handmade ebony extension; two Kent Armstrong custom-wound 7-string soapbar pickups; and 3-band Kent Armstrong active electronics. Q-Parts custom abalone and gold tone knobs.
